Solutions for “download failed because you may not have purchased this app”

Sometimes we download apps and after install when we open it, a notification shows 'download failed because you may not have purchased this app'. So if you face this kind of problem on your android device then this post is for you. Let’s know more about it.

Some reasons may cause this.

1. Internet connection problem.

•Your internet connection is turned off.

•Slow internet speed.

•Not working stable internet connection.

•Internet restrictions for your app.

2. Problem on app data folder.

•You may have missed data file.

•Your data file is deleted, renamed or moved.
•You did not place data folder properly in the desired place.

Solutions For Download Failed Because You May Not Have Purchased This App:

1.       Check your internet connection is on and it is working properly and speed is also good. So if your problem is there hopefully you can solve it.

2.       Check that app data folder is existing or not. If not exist, then follow the below step. Now check that data file name and folder name is OK.

There are two types of data files placements for the Android Games, first one is
Android/ data if there is a game and we have asked to place data here then it means you can download data files directly from game.
The other place is in Android/obb(if asked to place in obb folder then you can not download data files from game because this method need to check license verification from Google Play.

How to download the data file from Google Play Store?
Use Google search, just put your app name + Data download. You must need to remember about app version because your app version and data version must need to be same. 

After download please put it to the ‘SDCard>Android>obb’. Most apps data are stored here and don’t change the file name. 
If your app is installed on phone memory then you need to put the folder on‘phone memory> android>obb’. Now open the app and it will work mostly. 
Some apps default data storage is not here. It can be on ‘app installed drive>Android>Data’ or root folder of the installed drive. So you can also try it.

At the last if not works then make a backup of the app and uninstall it. Reinstall it and open it. If not work, then again uninstall it and download it from the play store and it will automatically configure all the task.

Normally, this type of apps and games is not only the apk file. You can understand it after downloading a big game or app which is bigger than 1GB. You can check that the apk file is not 1GB, it is small and the data is big. So if you got only apk file and the app hasn’t ability to download the data then you can face this kind of problem.
