Messenger is no longer belongs to Facebook

Now you don’t need to worry about that you must sign in your Facebook account to sign up for Messenger any more because Messenger is independent from Facebook. You only need your phone number and then sign up for Messenger. Soon, Facebook Messenger might be known only as “Messenger.” So if you are not one of the billion or so people with a Facebook account - or even if you are, and you don't want to associate your account with your messages.
There are pictures which can show you the difference between old version and the latest version. You can click not on Facebook and it will show you sign up with your phone number. If you still want to sign in with your Facebook account, it is also a good choice.
